Melody: What?
Nick (angrily): I’m breaking up with you.
Nick continues to cry and Melody gets tears in her eyes.
Melody: Why?
Nick: I don’t know.
Melody: How could you not know?
Nick: I don’t know. Things just don’t seem right between us anymore.
Melody starts to sob.
Meanwhile, on stage:
Lydeea: Well, that’s our show.
Joe: Join us for a meet and greet.
Kevin: There will be a line backstage.
Harmony: Hope to see you there!
Harmony (quietly to Joe, Kevin and Lydeea): Now let’s go find Melody and Nick.
All of them rush off stage.
Harmony: Where could they have gone?
Lydeea: I don’t know. This isn’t a big place.
Joe: It’s almost time for the meet and greet.
Kevin: I guess we better get going.
Back to the room where Melody and Nick cry.
Melody: Why, Nick, why?
Nick: I don’t know. Now leave me alone.
Melody: Fine!
Melody runs off.
Melody continues running until she gets to the meet and greet and runs into Joe, knocking him over.
Joe: Ow!
Joe (seeing that Melody is in tears): What’s wrong?
Melody: Ni…bro…me!
Kevin: What?
Lydeea: Nick broke up with her!
Harmony: Are you okay?
Melody: No!
Kevin: Why don’t you go rest while we do the meet and greet?
Melody runs off again.
Joe: Remind me to do something mean to Nick.
Some fans walk up Kevin, Joe, Lydeea, and Harmony.
Fan 1: What’s wrong with Melody?
Fan 2: She looks very sad.
Fan 3: Where’s Nick?
Harmony: Um…Nick broke up with Melody.
Joe: We don’t know where Nick is.
Fan 1: Oh, that’s so sad.
Fan 3: Is she okay?
Fan 2: Why did he do that?
Kevin: We don’t know.
Lydeea: We’re going to give them some time alone
Fan 3: Oh.
Fan 2: Well, bye, I guess.
Fan 1: It was nice meeting you.
The fans walk off and Kevin and Joe go to find Nick and Lydeea and Harmony go to find Melody.
Meanwhile, Nick is by himself.
Nick ( talking to himself): Why did I do that? I couldn’t have been more gentle? Man, she wrote a song for me and I break up with her. Gosh I am so stupid.
Joe: Yes you are.
Nick: Joe?
Kevin: Don’t forget me.
Nick: What are you doing here?
Joe: Looking for you.
Nick: Why?
Kevin: You broke up with Melody and you missed the meet and greet.
Nick: Oh, well where is Melody.
Joe: We don’t know.
Kevin: Lydeea and Harmony are looking for her.
