Kevin and Joe have been with Nick for a while and Lydeea and Harmony were still searching for Melody. Melody was in a room by herself when her ex-boyfriend, Jake, walks in. Melody was still crying so she didn’t know he walked in.
Jake: Hi Melody.
Melody: Huh?
Jake: I said hi Melody.
Melody: Jake?
Jake: Yep. It’s me. Why were you crying?
Melody: Like you would care.
Jake: I would care. Melody, I still like you.
Melody: Then why did you break up with me?
Jake: I was stupid and I guess I needed a little time to myself. I came here to apologize. What’s wrong?
Melody: Nick broke up with me.
Jake: Oh my gosh, are you okay?
Melody: No.
Jake: Would you feel better if we dated again?
Melody: I think it’s too early for me to have another boyfriend right now.
Jake: Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?
Melody: No.
Jake: You want to go get some ice cream?
Melody: Can Lydeea and Harmony come?
Jake: Sure.
Melody: Okay.
Jake: Great! Let’s go.
Jake and Melody leave to find Lydeea and Harmony. When they find them, Jake invites them to come with them to get ice cream.
Jake: Do you girls want to get ice cream with Melody and me?
Lydeea: Are you back together?
Melody: No, he heard about the break up and wanted to do something nice for me.
Harmony: Ice cream would be good. But where have you been? We have been looking for you for a long time.
Melody: I was in that room over there. Where is Joe and Kevin?
Lydeea: With Nick.
Melody: Oh.
Jake: So, let’s go get some ice cream.
Meanwhile, Kevin and Joe were talking to Nick.
Joe: Why did you break up with Melody?
Nick: I don’t know.
Kevin: If you don’t know, then why did you do it?
Nick: It’s just…I feel like we are drifting apart, ever since Harmony and Lydeea have been touring with us. It seems like she is spending more time with them and less with me.
Kevin: In other words, you’re jealous.
Joe: Why didn’t you talk to her? She asked you several times if there was anything wrong.
Nick: I don’t know. I’m an idiot. I just wanted to be alone.
Kevin: Dude, she wrote a song for you.
Nick: I know. What should I do?
Joe: It’s between you and Melody.
