My tenth month started off bad. I kinda tripped back stage after a concert and broke my wrist in two places and my doctor wanted me to stay at the hospital over night because it was a really bad fall and I was covered in bad bruises. My doctor is super cautious of every thing. I guess that is a good thing because I also had a broken rib that they didn’t catch in the first x-rays, so my doctor wanted me to stay for two more days. While I was in the hospital, Nick came to visit me. I don’t think Jake would have ever done anything like that. He probably would have sent me a wired cheesy card.
After that, things were fine. I had a cast on my wrist for four weeks, which kinda sucked, but I managed to get through it. My fans were so worried about me. It was cute. The little girls would come up to me and say, “ Melody are you okay?”
The only hard thing about the cast was that I couldn’t write with my right hand, the one that I broke. So when I signed autographs, I had to use my left hand. That was extremly difficult for me because I am not used to writing with my left hand.
At the begining of my eleventh month in L.A., I got the cast off and that seemed like the most wonderful thing in my life. I had never been happier to sign an autograph with my right hand. That was until I had to sign over one thousand autographs. That would have murdered my left hand.
My fame had gotten so high that I could not go anywhere without having to sign an autograph or take a picture with someone. I just have to get used to it because it continued into my twelfth month in
My twelfth month was relatively normal. I was so glad for that. Less autographs, good for my hands. Less pictures, good for my eyes. I can’t stand the flash. The only un-normal thing was how high the album and ticket sells were. And something seemed weird about Nick.
I don't know why Nick was acting so weird. I just ignored it. We have a concert coming up so I just decided to forget about it.
To be continued…
