It’s the day of the concert in
Kevin: You worried?
Nick: A little. I’ll call Maranda to see if she’s in place for the plan.
Nick takes out his phone and calls Maranda.
Nick: Are you ready?
Maranda (over phone): Yes.
Nick: We’re about to perform.
Maranda: Okay. Bye.
Nick: Bye.
Nick hangs up his phone.
Joe: Let’s do this!
Kevin and Nick: Alright!
Melody, Lydeea, and Harmony leave the stage and wish the Jonas Brothers good luck as they get on. After they perform, they get off and Jake gets on. It’s the last song of the night and Jake brings Melody on stage. Nick leaves backstage. Kevin walks on stage and starts talking to Jake while Joe messes with Jake’s guitar, then Joe and Kevin leave the stage. Nick is in the audience.
Jake: This last song was written by me for my wonderful girlfriend Melody.
Jake plays a beautiful song for Melody.
Melody: Jake, I loved it. How can I thank you?
Jake: With a kiss.
Melody: Okay.
The two lean towards each other to kiss.
Melody: Wait! Nick said you were going to do this.
Jake: What? This!
Jake pushes her off stage. Nick jumps out of the audience and catches her. Khrisandra walks on stage towards Jake.
Khrisandra: You said this would work.
Jake: I didn’t know he would catch her. At least we can still be together.
Khrisandra: No. I have a better boyfriend, Lance Justice.
Khrisandra pushes Jake off stage and Maranda jumps out of the audience and catches him.
Jake: Thanks Maranda. I should have never broken up with you. Would you go back out with me?
Maranda: No. I will never date someone as mean and cruel as you. Sorry, but we are over for good.
Melody: Nick. I’m so sorry. I should have never chosen Jake over you. Can you ever forgive me?
Nick: It’s okay. I’ll always be here for you, no matter what. You don’t have to be sorry. I broke your heart first. Jake was using you and tricking you. Of course I can forgive you.
They look into each others eyes. Melody is still in Nick’s arms. They lean towards each other and kiss passionately.
Nick: Melody, would you be my girlfriend again.
Melody: Yes.
Kevin rushes up on stage.
Kevin: That’s our concert. Please come see us again.
The Jonas Brothers and Melody go back stage. Nick holds Melody’s hand as they walk into a room.
Nick: Melody, I never want to be away from you.
Melody: I never want you to be away from me.
Nick: I should have never been jealous.
Melody: I should have never chosen Jake.
Nick: Melody, I love you.
Melody: I love you, too.
Nick: So, it’s official. You’re my girlfriend.
Melody: And you’re my boyfriend.
Nick: I have something for you.
Melody: You do? What is it?
Nick: Close your eyes.
Melody: Okay.
She closes her eyes. Nick reaches into his pocket and pulls out…
