Nick woke up the next morning and decided to go to the park. He sits down on a bench at the park. He sees Jake and decides to go talk to him. Just as he was walking over a girl walks up to Jake and kisses him and holds his hand and they walk away.
Girl: So you’re dating Melody now?
Jake: Yes.
Girl: Good. When are you going to crush her?
Jake: I’ll wait until she gets really close to me.
Girl: Better. How are you going to do it?
Jake: At one of our concerts, I’ll sing to her, kiss her, push her off the stage, then walk off with you. Public humiliation and heartbreak.
Girl: Excellent. You’re more like me every day. I can’t wait.
Jake: You will if you want the best results. See you later, Khrisandra.
The two kiss and Khrisandra walks away. Nick walks up behind Jake.
Nick: Hey Jake.
Jake (startled): Oh hey. How long have you been here?
Nick: I just got here.
Jake: Okay. See you later.
Nick: See ya.
What Jake doesn’t know is that Nick heard everything.
Nick (to himself): I’ve got to go tell Melody.
